Relax with the whole family at this peaceful lake side retreat with 90 feet of beach/waterfront. Located 2 minutes from the boat launch and now has a new dock - as of 1/2026 (shallow water-no jumping off the dock). This is a rustic cabin-with 80’s charm (under mount cabinet coffee maker), classic appliances, blue sink/tub (bathroom), etc.
Bellingham offers the best of the outdoors: hiking, biking, kayaking, boating, star gazing, wildlife. Bring along your kayaks and launch from the ramp/beach from the property.
The space
We purchased this property as a means to get away from the hustle and bustle of life. It is a quiet retreat and a perfect way to enjoy magnificent views, great swimming in the summer and fun wildlife (the eagles and cranes come swooping along the lake often and the bunnies will say hi also).
There is also a large flat, large lawn and gravel driveway to run around!
If you are looking for an upscale, sparkly home, this is NOT it. It is well stocked and furnished and has a lot of retro charm!
We allow one dog - pet fee applies. No cats due to owners allergies.
Please add a pet to the reservations when applicable.
Be mindful that around water (lakes, rivers, etc), there tends to be more rodents. We have traps/ultrasonic repellers/etc) to deter rodents.
Boat tie up rules - No ties ups to anything on the property, including but not limited to retaining wall, pier, gangway, float, pilings, etc). Damage is at the guests expense. No anchoring the boat allowed in the lake. Please use the boat launch 2 minutes down the road-DO NOT USE the ramp on the property. Damage to the property/fines from the County caused by boats are at the guest expense.
Pet friendly - our yard is not fully fenced in. It does however, have a wonderful grassy lawn and lovely for a short walk with very little cars on the street since we are down a dead end. There are steep stairs inside, so if you have an older pup, we do not recommend booking, or perhaps let us know and we can set up accommodations downstairs (new twin mattress/cot and a fold down full size couch).
Cameras - we have cameras monitoring the exterior of the property.
